ADR Driver Training Refresher

Overview
The ADR Driver Training Refresher course is the qualification needed to transport dangerous goods by road. The qualification lasts for five years in which this must be renewed five weeks before the expiry date.
Course Content
The ADR course is based around the following modules:
Core
Trainees will learn the basic overview of dangerous goods and how they react, loading and unloading, first aid, firefighting and emergency procedures.
Tanks
This module covers the carriage of dangerous goods in road tanks and tank containers.
Packages
This module covers the carriage of dangerous goods in packages.
Classes
We offer the following classes:
- Class 2 – Gases
- Class 3 – Flammable liquids
- Class 4 – Flammable solids
- Class 5 – Oxidising
- Class 6 – Toxics
- Class 8 – Corrosives
- Class 9 – Miscellaneous
Class 1 (explosives) and Hazardous Goods Awareness are one day courses available on request.
Course Benefits
Online exams are available meaning trainees will receive their results on the same day and their ADR cards the following week.
ADR and Driver CPC courses: seven hours towards your 35 hours of periodic training can be gained by sitting an ADR refresher course.
