Overview
The Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate First Aid at Work course ensures trainees have the skills, knowledge and confidence to deal with any emergency which may occur in the workplace.
We provide training in Grimsby, Immingham, Scunthorpe and surrounding areas.
Course Content
On the Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate First Aid at Work course, trainees will learn the following:
- The role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR and defibrillation
- Recovery Position
- Heart Attack
- Stroke
- Choking
- Epilepsy
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Anaphylaxis
- Shock
- Head and spinal injuries
- Chest injuries
- Wounds and bleeding
- Fractures.
- Sprains, strains and dislocations
- Minor injuries
- Burns and scalds
- Poisoning
- Eye injuries.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this Qualsafe accredited course, anyone can attend our first aid training.
Assessment Method
This Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate First Aid at Work course is assessed by both a multi-format assessment and practical exam.
