It’s the career both my father and grandfather had their whole life and I knew it was something I wanted to do from an early age. The HGV training courtesy of ERA Employment and MODAL Training Centre is a truly fantastic opportunity. The training facilities at MODAL Training Centre are second to none and the staff there are excellent! I couldn’t recommend this enough.”
Rachel Button, ERA Lead said “we are very pleased to start the first step of the journey for our selected candidates as they embark on their HGV training and career pathway. We are proud to be working with Hugh and the team at MODAL Training Centre, they have a great reputation and fantastic state of the art facilities. ERA, as an ethical recruitment agency, is delighted to be able to put back into our community and work in partnership with local employers such as DSV. Exciting times ahead.”
Michael Hague, General Manager, Transport, Road Haulage & Equipment at DSV said “myself and my colleagues at DSV are looking forward to developing our relationship further with MODAL Training with the driver recruitment and HGV training programme due to start in January. The candidates put forward by ERA were very motivated and we look forward to taking the successful candidates through the programme, along with MODAL to gain their HGV 1 licences and to welcome them as future HGV drivers with DSV Road. We hope that this cohort of candidates will be the first of many.”
Hugh Callaway, Managing Director of MODAL Training Ltd, added: “We are delighted to be working with Centre4 and DSV to train individuals to become LGV drivers.
